The day after Nyepi, Hindus in Bali hold the Ngembak Geni ceremony. But in 2020 there are things that are very different from the previous year. There are a number of appeals to apply when Ngembak Geni.

Regencies and Cities in Bali issued an appeal after Bali Governor Wayan Koster issued an appeal letter to all Balinese people. The appeal letter was issued under number 45 / Satgascovid19 / III / 2020 which was issued on March 23, 2020, calling for the Balinese people not to leave the house on March 26, 2020.

Because of that, Canggu Village obeyed the appeal by closing Canggu beach, Nelayan beach, Batu Bolong beach, Munduk Catu beach, and Batu Mejan beach commonly called Echo Beach. The closing was held today (3/26).There were pecalang and police officers from the North Kuta police station on the beach.
